
Amazon.com Inc. announced today that Dave Clark, the company’s chief executive officer for its global consumer division, is departing after 23 years to seek other possibilities.
Andy Jassy, the CEO of Amazon, said he hopes to have an update on Clark’s successor in the coming weeks.
The 1st of July will be Clark’s last day at work.
Clark, who joined Amazon in 1999 right after graduating from his MBA program, has led teams that designed fulfillment centers and transportation networks.
