According to Germany’s dpa newswire on Saturday, Mercedes is recalling almost a million older automobiles owing to probable braking difficulties, citing the KBA motor vehicle authority.
Models made between 2004 and 2015 are impacted, according to dpa, with roughly 70,000 in Germany.
At the KBA or Mercedes, no one was immediately accessible.
According to dpa, the issue was caused by rust on the brake booster, which may cause the connection between the brake pedal and the braking system to break.
