Warner Bros Discovery Inc will cut as much as 30% of jobs in its global sales team, the Information reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Warner Bros. Discovery will this week offer buyouts to employees of its U.S. ad sales staff, as part of a plan to downsize the worldwide sales force by as much as 30 percent, according to sources familiar with the issue.
The buyouts are one of the company’s first major cost-cutting measures since its establishment in April following Discovery’s acquisition of WarnerMedia.
