Indonesia boosts fees for app-based motorbike transportation following rise in gasoline prices

According to senior official Hendro Sugiatno, Indonesia’s Transport Ministry has hiked fees for app-based motorbike transport services to account for the recent gasoline price increase.

Charges per kilometer were hiked by 6% to 13.3%, and minimum fares for the first 4 kilometers of travel were also raised. The increased fares will go into effect three days later, on Wednesday, according to Hendro.
