Following the SoftBank-owned company’s decision to sell some of the most cutting-edge semiconductor designs, Chinese digital giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
British semiconductor technology company Arm Ltd, which is owned by SoftBank, concluded that the US and UK would not provide licenses for the sale of technology to China. Neoverse V2, Arm’s newest data center chip technology, was introduced earlier this year to handle the massive increase in data generated by 5G and other internet-connected devices.
