The introduction of the Ioniq 5 EV in India has been announced by Hyundai Motor. The company has not yet disclosed the car’s pricing, although it is currently available for reservation for Rs 1,000,000. Hyundai is anticipated to make its full specifications and price known at the upcoming Greater Noida Auto Show.
After the Kona, the Ioniq 5 is Hyundai’s second electric vehicle. The 58kWh and 72.6kWh battery types of the international model have a driving range of 385 km and 480 km, respectively. There are 2WD and 4WD (four-wheel drive) versions of both battery models. It advertises a top speed of 185 kph and 0-100 acceleration in under 6.1 seconds.
A 12.3-inch HD touchscreen, wireless phone charging, a head-up display, leather seats, and a sunroof are anticipated for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. Among other safety features, the vehicle will have SmartSense Level 2 ADAS capabilities, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Driver Attention Warning.
