
Garuda Aerospace, a producer of drones, announced on Sunday that the Director General of Civil Aviation had approved the type certification and RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organization) for its locally developed Kisan drones.
After a thorough testing process, DGCA Type certification is given based on the quality check. Garuda Kisan drones were qualified for Rs 10 lakh in unsecured loans from the Center’s agri-infrastructure fund because they were built for agricultural use and had gained Type Certification for the GA-AG model.
Garuda Aerospace founder Agnishwar Jayaprakash said, “We are powered and gifted with high needs of manufacturing 5,000 drones in the next five months and the required skill usage and major industry growth will occur. By significantly influencing farmers’ lives and creating cutting-edge employment, He believed that their drones will further benefit farmers and agribusiness owners.
